The SW fandom is kinda funny, because most of it is just ship wars and arguing, and then there’s the Hux fandom, which is just there like “lol imagine if Hux had a cat.”
I drew lubricant labels for the a FO like a month ago and almost completely forgot about it;;(its sad how long it took me to have “the dark slide” eureka moment lol)
For a franchise (Star Wars) and an alien species (Togruta) that I dearly love and probably obsess over to an unhealthy degree, I could not be more underwhelmed with the design elements I always find myself presented with. I have gone back to the drawing board more times with this species and this character than I care to keep track of. I will probably never be satisfied, lol.
Anyway, for a long time I’ve been in love with the Togruta (it all started with Miss Shaak Ti) but always wished they were less humans-with-cool-hats looking. I always meant to go back and fix that in my own personal AU, but never got around to it. The pile of shit Bioware presented us with in SWTOR and called a Togruta male pushed me over the edge.
So have a trad-sketch of Iisska’s and his entire species’ new look! I also made changes to the hands, feet, skin, biology, lore, culture, musculature, JUST EVERYTHING ACTUALLY, that will probably be drawn later.
Totally not canon because fuck Star Wars canon. Nobody even knows what is included and what isn’t anymore. I mean seriously.
