I do not know history of Marvel’s Loki very well, but I was pretty
upset by his fate in the last Avengers. (I’m trying to write without
spoilers) So in my mind such powerful creature as him just found some way to save itself :3

So I’m enjoying the heck out of @fairy-changeling‘s Arthurian flavored fic Rulers Make Bad Lovers and I was called to dress Loki, an eternal ageless fashion witch, breaking hearts on Jord’s farm

He was always impeccably turned out, dressed in black and never with a scuff on his boots or a tear in his clothes.

After certain… events… in Infinity War, I felt the need to paint a memoriam of baby Loki. Honestly, Loki was the true beginning to my Marvel obsession. Where would I be without him???

This took about four hours but I’m pretty happy with the result!

Sometimes I’m just sitting here minding my own business and then I remember that Thor specifically entrusted Loki with placing Surtur’s crown on the fire to initiate Ragnarok and I tear up a little bit because that’s how you love and support your chaotic neutral sibling.

Thor: I know what’ll cheer you up. 🙂
Loki: What’s that?
Thor: You wanna trigger the apocalypse with me for the good of Asgard?
Loki: !!!!!!!!

my favorite part is that nobody questioned Loki surviving that experience. Thor sent him in there with the comfortable confidence of Loki’s cockroach-like ability to cause the apocalypse and sneak out before it got bad, Loki didn’t try to pretend that this was dangerous, absolutely nobody ever commented…
